Stephan rushed into the sitting room, ready to play the part of the brute, when he laid eyes on what had to be the most handsome man he'd ever seen. "Your Grace?" the young man asked softly as his gaze traveled over his disheveled body. Suddenly, Stephan was angered that he hadn't taken a moment to change for his guest. He no longer wanted to run the man off; he wanted to seduce him in to staying forever.
Stephan ran a hand through his hair and pulled it off his shoulders as he stepped into the room. "Lord Bannister, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I apologize for my current state of undress, but I rushed down to meet you when I was told you were here. I didn't want to leave you waiting."
